In this project, 21CLS developed hospitality training for Wyndham Hotel’s front desk staff. The client desired a customized multimedia training piece that could not be purchased off-the-shelf. 21CLS used screen capture programs such as Techsmith Camtasia and Adobe Captivate to develop and deliver powerful demonstration videos that included participant assessment. 21CLS also provided instructional design, recording, SCORM compliance, and editing services to create multimedia presentations used in the training.
This online training course transitioned traditional classroom lab safety training to an online environment. Each semester, over 1,000 students are required to complete this training in order to safely participate in courses with lab work at the University of Central Florida (UCF). The 21CLS team created a 13-module course to replace the face-to-face training. Throughout the process, 21CLS worked with eight different subject matter experts to create rich and engaging content. After developing the course content, 21CLS built the course in UCF’s learning management system (Canvas). To ensure a streamlined experience, 21CLS also provided UCF staff with additional guidance on the use of Canvas. As part of this content, 21CLS created lecture-style Adobe Presenter presentations, demonstration videos, interview videos with UCF’s Department of Environmental Health and Safety staff, and live-action videos of specific lab activities.
Technology-Driven Classrooms (TDC) is a proprietary course developed and owned by 21CLS. TDC was written for K-12 teachers and administrators who aspire to do more with technology and digital media in their classroom or school. The National Educational Technology Standards for Teachers (NETS-T) and the National Technology Standards for Students (NETS-S), developed by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), are integrated throughout the TDC course curriculum. The curriculum also addresses the Technology Standards for School Administrators (TSSA). This course also focuses on integrating iPads and other mobile technologies. Notre Dame College has partnered with 21CLS to offer TDC to teachers and administrators throughout the state of Ohio. If your organization is interested in partnering with us, be sure to contact us.
This four-part course trained teachers to incorporate water conservation content into their classroom curriculum. The 21CLS team upgraded the original online course modules, reorganized materials, created new course content and media, and provided a new system for course delivery and maintenance assistance. In addition, 21CLS trained St. Johns River Water Management District staff in effective course-management techniques.
21CLS created a series of three (3) videos on the subject of Social Work for Pal-Tech’s online web series. These videos were planned out using a storyboard process, working closely with Pal-Tech and government agencies. They were custom illustrated and utilized the video scribe technique (whiteboard drawing). In addition to the Video Scribe technique, 21CLS also incorporated motion graphics and audio production, resulting in visual engaging and informative video presentations.
21CLS worked with materials provided by Jones & Bartlett to create an online Nursing Informatics Master’s course in one month. Additional projects include Master’s in Health Administration alignment work and development of assessment items.
For Acrobatiq, 21CLS has created course content, assessment items and media enhancements for courses in World History, Research and Information Technology, and Biology. The media enhancements included custom illustrations and motion graphics videos. We also provided quality assurance and editing services.
